This 20.9MP CMOS crop sensor DSLR is an update to the D7200. It features an EXPEED 5 image processor that forgoes the optical low-pass filter— allowing it to record high-resolution images with maximum clarity. Continuously capture 50 14-bit RAW images or 100 JPEGS at 8 fps, and take 4K video in 30, 25, and 24p as well as 4K time-lapse videos in-camera. With an ISO range of 100–51200 that’s expandable to 50–1640000, you’ll be able to maximize results in a variety of lighting conditions, even in the lowest light. A 51-point autofocus system with 15 centrally located points makes it possible to use autofocus down to -3 EV. You can also group the autofocus points—enabling you to select the area of focus you prefer—or refine your focus using the Auto AF Fine Tune and 180k-pixel metering sensor. Multiple Exposure mode can make 10 images into a composite, and Auto Picture Control can automatically adjust the tone curve.

Take advantage of nearly 30 minutes of in-camera video recording time or attach your favorite external device via HDMI to get uncompressed, 8-bit 4:2:2 4K UHD. It will simultaneously record onto your SD using a 1.5 crop— approximately 2.25x what it would be on a full-frame sensor. You can also record in Full-HD and MP4.

Thanks to a carbon-fiber body that’s weather-sealed and extremely light, it’s easy to take the D7500 wherever you like to shoot. With the option of using the 3.2-inch 922k-dot tilting rear touch LCD or the 0.94x optical viewfinder, you’ll have the freedom to compose your shot from any angle and still get 100% coverage. Snapbridge turns your smart device into a remote control and gives you the ability to transfer or review your images via Bluetooth or WiFi. The Nikon EN-EL15a battery is good for up to 950 shots per charge, so take your time getting the perfect shot.
